Trainer of the Month: Justin Gore Justin is from in Olathe, KS and is a graduate of Olathe North High School. He led the football team in winning two state Championships. He is a 3 -time Letterman in football as well as in baseball. Justin finished high school as the 3rd All-time leading Rusher in Olathe North's History behind the NFL great Darren Sproles. In football he was All-state, All-metro, All-Johnson County, and played in the Kan/Mo All-star game. With a scholarship to the University of Central Missouri, he continued his football career while he earned his degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Corporate Fitness. SKO Fitness Updates We are proud to announce the new Cross Training program at our studio. This program incorporates both strength and cardio training. Burning fat and toning in as little as 30 minutes.  Peppermint Bark (gluten-free) Ingredients: ◾1/2 cup coconut butter or Homemade Coconut Butter ◾12 or more drops pure peppermint extract
◾1 and 1/2 tbsp agave (or to taste), or stevia drops to taste (I actually like it unsweetened)
◾optional: sprinkles, crushed candy canes, other garnishes ---- Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. (Make sure to melt your coconut butter first if it's hard. I like to stick the jar in a warm-not hot-oven for just a few minutes.) Spread the mixture onto wax paper, then put it in the fridge or freezer to harden. After just a few minutes in the freezer, it's become delicious bark!
